تضم الشبكة العربية للأمن الإنساني متخصصين في المجالات الصحية والاجتماعية والبيئية والإعلام في الوطن العربي وهي تهدف إلى تسليط الضوء على جوانب الأمن الإنساني في الوطن العربي وتحفيز الدور الحكومي والمدني والإعلامي لتعزيز الأمن الإنساني في الوطن العربي والعالم، يتركز اهتمام الشبكة على تعزيز هذا المفهوم من جهةوتطبيقاته في مجالات الصحة والعنف والأطفال والنساء والبيئة ونزع السلاح والبيئة

The Arab Human Security Network is currently based in Damascus, Syria. It was founded by emerging the coordination committees of Alyarmouk society (Non profitable org) and the Arab Network for Research on Landmine and Explosive Remnants of war, In order to highlight the growing human security issues in the Arab countries and promote actions required.
AHSN members are from most of the Arab states in the fields of:
Development; Environment; Disarmament; Survivors and affected communities; Public Health Professionals; Academics; Media as well as Psycho-Social support
At this preparatory period, AHSN is focusing on Health and Security, Violence, Children in Armed Conflict, Humanitarian Disarmament, and Sustainable Environment.
